Apple has announced a sweeping update to its Apple Creator Studio suite, introducing artificial intelligence tools built with OpenAI models alongside Apple Intelligence. The upgrades roll out as a free release for existing subscribers this November on the App Store, landing alongside new M6-powered iMac and 14-inch MacBook Pro computers. [1][2]
The release embeds MotionVFX visual effects, plugins, and templates directly into Final Cut Pro for Mac, which also gains access to stock video through an integrated Content Hub and direct image editing with Pixelmator Pro. Meanwhile, Pixelmator Pro adds a natural-language Generate Fill tool. Logic Pro for Mac introduces an enhanced Stem Splitter that separates drums, a overhauled sound browser with Splice integration, and a beta intelligent assistant to set up tracks and guide workflows. Apple is also deploying contextual AI assistants in beta across Keynote, Pages, and Numbers to write copy, build slides, and suggest charts. The productivity suite adds Model Context Protocol support, allowing external automated AI agents to read documents and perform edits directly inside the apps. [1]
