What reviewers found

A strong choice for demanding ray tracing

The 5070 Ti makes its best case in games where Nvidia’s ray-tracing performance and DLSS support are useful. The RX 9070 XT remains a serious alternative with the same 16GB capacity. A big price gap should send you back to the game-by-game results: the Nvidia advantage is far from uniform.

High-end gaming position

Tom’s Hardware places it at native 1440p or upscaled 4K, and cautions against treating multi-frame generation as a generational rendering uplift.

The lead depends on the game

TechSpot shows close contests and reversals alongside Nvidia-favorable workloads. Frame-time stability and 1% lows can matter beyond the average.

Memory and feature premium

PC Gamer explains the higher bandwidth versus the 9070 XT. That capability is a reason to examine workloads, not a guarantee that paying more will help.
