What reviewers found

Easy mesh networking, with a few recurring tradeoffs

Tri-band Wi-Fi 7 and 5GbE make the Pro 7 appealing for a fast home network with newer devices. Its simple app is part of the attraction, but some extras require a subscription and each node has only two Ethernet ports. Compare the number of nodes included before judging a deal.

Qualitative finding

Tom’s Hardware is more reserved about performance and value than Tom’s Guide; their test setups should be read before drawing a speed comparison.

Tom’s Guide

Measurement · Wi-Fi throughput at 15 feet

1.905 Gbps

Tom’s Guide uses Keysight IxChariot with an Acer Swift Edge 16 in its review home. This is local-network throughput at 15 feet, not an internet-speed guarantee or a whole-home coverage result.
