What reviewers found

A fast, sharp OLED for a capable gaming PC

The combination of 4K detail and a 240Hz refresh rate gives this 27-inch OLED its appeal. Driving demanding games at those settings requires a serious GPU. Bright room lighting can weaken perceived blacks, and long stretches of static desktop content still warrant attention to OLED care and warranty terms.

What the reviews support

Fast pixel transitions suit demanding gaming; your GPU and game settings determine achievable frame rates.

The brightest HDR number is not the whole picture

TFTCentral measured a peak of 1,012 nits in Console HDR mode, but found mid-to-light shades too dark in larger bright scenes. True Black 400 tracked the intended brightness more accurately, with a lower peak around 462 nits. Choose the mode for the picture you prefer, rather than the largest advertised number.

ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM review ↗

TFTCentral praised the sharp 27-inch 4K image and text clarity. It found that HDR modes trade brightness for accuracy: the mode with the highest peak-white measurement was darker in substantial parts of real content.
