Costco is offering a promotion through December 20 that gives new shoppers a $45 Digital Costco Shop Card when purchasing a one-year Gold Star Membership for $65. The deal is open to residents of the U.S. and Puerto Rico who are joining as new members or whose previous memberships have lapsed for at least 18 months. [1][2]
Buyers receive a single-use promo code via email that must be entered on Costco's site by January 31, 2027, alongside enrollment in auto renewal. Costco emails the $45 gift card within two weeks of registration. The digital card can be used across multiple purchases online at Costco.com or in warehouses, though it is not accepted at U.S. or Canada food courts. Current members looking to upgrade or renew are ineligible, as are Costco employees. [1][2]
