Viture has partnered with developer S-GAME to launch the Viture Phantom Beast, a special-edition pair of XR smart glasses themed after the game Phantom Blade Zero. Available starting October 30 on Viture's website for $599, the device is based on the earlier Viture Beast model and comes packaged with a metal-and-leather scabbard-style carrying case alongside collectible items, including a Mó Sanguine Blade replica, a sticker set, and a lens cloth. The glasses project a virtual screen equivalent to 174 inches with 1200p resolution per eye, a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,250-nit peak brightness, and nine-level electrochromic dimming. Audio is handled by built-in HARMAN AudioEFX speakers in the temples, and head tracking relies on native 3DoF support. While the hardware offers plug-and-play compatibility with USB-C display devices like smartphones and computers, connecting to a PlayStation 5 requires a separate $29 cable, and linking to a Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 demands Viture's Mobile Dock Mini. The hardware launch lands as Phantom Blade Zero expands its footprint across platforms. Following its Steam release, the kungfupunk action title also joined Nvidia's GeForce Now cloud gaming library alongside eight other titles, letting subscribers stream the game without local installations across PCs, mobile devices, and TVs.
