Footage from canceled Xbox Perfect Dark reboot surfaces online

Last year, we learned that Xbox cancelled a reboot of Perfect Dark. The game, in development at The Initiative, was cancelled as part of 2025's wave of wide-ranging cuts at Microsoft and Xbox. In 2026, of course, things have only gotten worse for the company.

The Perfect Dark reboot was unfortunately cancelled before any of us got to see the game in action. With the game now dead and the studio behind it disbanded, we are starting to see some leaks, including the first 'real' gameplay footage. The post Perfect Dark gameplay footage leaks first appeared on KitGuru.
